WRB paint difference

Does anyone know if the WRB paint changed from the 2002 to the 2006 WRB.

I am looking at putting a 2006 trunk on my 2002 and was wondering how the paint would match.. Thanks

I suppose there is going to be more fading and some slight differences wondering if it would be reallly drastic.

Maybe a little bit, but nothing some buffing work wont help.

should be the same on both

 

Your old car may be a little faded from the 06 tho.

 

i work at a ppg paint store. they stay the same BUT in some of our paint lines they do offer different variants for that paint such as a lighter flop or a lil coarser and such.

 

they should be the same, but as stated before there were variants... even some in the same year. you wont know until you put it on and even then it will be hard to tell.

 

+1 i think the biggest factor is going to be that your 02 has seen 4 more years of sun salt and weather that has faded your paint.
