I would like a long handled, 6-point, box end, 12 mm wrench for less than $25. Does anyone know where I can find this? Thanks, Steve

Fits the specs you listed. You didn't say it had to be a quality piece. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLUE-POINT-...ultDomain_0&hash=item1c061a3a55#ht_1326wt_954
Funny you mention the "quality" part; I almost added that to my "list" but figured I'd have to settle for what I could find. Thanks for the link.
A lot of the 6-point box ends I could find were short wrenches (SK being a popular search result). Hope it works for you.
It arrived. Now, I like to think that I'm super strong and stuff (I've got the ancient symbol of iron as my avatar...); but when I can bend a wrench (the thin center section) with my bare hands, it might be a bit weak. I only need it for 2 nuts though; we'll see.

They changed their "lifetime warranty" @ Sears. I was looking at some craftsman wrenches this week. When you go to the warranty page it says 1 year.
I thought this was weird too. I have no evidence for the older products (besides word of mouth)... but the online stuff shocked me for new items.
Ok from my experience the policy has and has not changed... When I worked construction I could just walk in and exchange any tool I wanted. That changed somewhere around 2005... At that point automotive tool were still exchangeable "lifetime" but with other tools (construction) it went to a year. As for now not fully sure, but I have never had a problem with an exchange of an auto tool ever.
