I know we all know this... but it is still cool to see it at the top of the list. Subaru WRX Subarus and snow go hand in hand. It's no accident that the AWD Impreza has been around for almost 20 years. http://www.autoweek.com/article/20100211/CARNEWS/100219977
Too bad BMW moved away from limited slip diffs. My old 325IX would run circles around most Subaru's, but I don't think that's the case with newer models. I still have a few issues with that list though.
Who would drive an R8 in the snow? And what sort of technical data do they have to back up that claim? ~Dan
That's all it is, a list. They don't even tell you why the car was picked for snow driving. What is it about the Subaru that makes it better than other cars? AWD isn't going to get you out of everything just because it's AWD, you still need to know how to drive in snow.
Best snow cars? The ones equipped with snow tires. They do focus on higher performance cars with more advanced differentials which can make a huge difference in putting the power down in poor conditions.
