would either of these things be good for my ride?? '97 JDM WRX: steering rack/column - FREE pedals - clutch, brake, gas - FREE i could use the clutch when i do a manual tranny swap
not sure on the rack, it probably has a little better turning ratio. as far as the pedals go, it would be all hydraulic stuff, which equals more work and more expensive parts. IMO i like cable clutchs more anyways. also if you do that you may need to buy stuff like a cluster, master, slave cylinder, hydraulic lines. most hydro trannys at least newer ones all use electronic speedos, where yours is cable. the most cost effective way to do the tranny swap in your car is to stay cable. easier, cheaper. IMO
well then :biggrin: j/k. if you can still get those for free i would still grab them, that way if someone needed the stuff for a diff project it would be ready to rock, always take people up on free parts, i would still take the clutch stuff just to have it.
