I'm looking for a red subaru grill emblem for my 04 wrx wagon. I've looked all over but can only find them for the 08+. I'm assuming they're not the same, but I could be wrong. Let me know if you have one! Thanks

Do the DIY on yours. 1)remove emblem. 2)use penny, dime, etc to scrape the black backing off of the flat surfaces(leaving the oval and chrome stars in tact)-when you look from the front after you have finished, it should look clear(hazy, but clear) 3) mask of the front and sides of the emblem with masking tape. 4)use a red spraypaint that most closely matches the look that you're going for. 5)unmask face of emblem. 6)reinstall on grill with double sided tape or black silicone adhesive. I used Permatex "perma black" for mine. Done!
My recommendation would be to find a replacement one for you to make an attempt on first if you're not comfortable. I did mine without needing a "back up", so it's doable!
In theory, you should be able to change the star color as well if you remove the "chrome" from them. I just left them chrome and did WRB. Wish that i had a pic of how it turned out for ya.
