I don't know just how people on here would enjoy a FREE day at a high speed professional race track but I'm hoping at least a handful. I just spoke with my director at BIR High Performance School and they've donated a voucher for the raffle to one lucky person worth $300. http://www.birperformance.com/ I will also be offering two hours of my Professional Driver Coaching Services as another prize. There is a huge difference between Instructing and Coaching. http://www.speedsecrets.com/coaching/ Anyways I hope to see more of my old friends as well as potential new friends at this event. And good luck at the drawing table
I sent a PM already but I'm not going to need my dyno slot. My clutch went out and my car is already at RS Motors getting a clutch + tune. I'm still planning to swing by and grab some food and visit with everyone.
No idea. I can tell you it's "scrapes getting over canterbury downs speed bumps" low.. but haven't actually measured ground to chassis. I'll be there regardless, it would just be kind of a bummer if i can't get on the dyno...
So sense I don't have the ability to prepay I'm not on the list... Even though I've posted atleast 2-3 times that I wanted a spot and I would pay the day of?
Correct. Pre-pay only. No handraisers. All you need is a cc or a friend to use paypal. There will be a day of list as well.
Some people were talking earlier about meeting for breakfast and heading over, but no one has proposed a place/time yet - so someone's got to step up and give some ideas if this is going to go down!
Alright it's not my intent to spam this thread but I'm working hard to help promote and generate more excitement for this event. So I got a few friends My friend who owns http://www.racesuitrental.com/ has graciously offered to donate two Vouchers. 1. One hour on his IRacing http://www.iracing.com/ Simulator at his new facility. This is a great tool for driver development. 2. One FREE helmet rental for any of your future track events. Please contact David Schaal as he's a great resource. Thank you!
Hi Jim, unfortunately I don't at this time. He just opened the new shop and I've been soo busy all summer I haven't been able to stop by. But iracing is a very popular tool for a lot of drivers. I'm somewhat familiar with the program and was planning to invest more time over the winter. I have several peers using the program on their SIMS. I would encourage you to contact my friend. Good luck. http://www.racesuitrental.com/contact.html
Alright I think this will be the last one for this go-a-round. My friends who own the new local gun range in Rogers www.targetsportsmn.mn has donated a 6 punch card worth $100 to use at their facility. This will be an EPIC events! Thanks for all the hard work from the staff and the members for the retention, sharing and wealth invested which has helped in keeping this community growing stronger year after year.
It was very easy sir, its helps to have many good and wonderful friends in many different places. Consider this my contributions back to the community that has helped me in so many ways. Please enjoy!
+1 for Dave at Race Suit Rentals. Super Nice guy! IRacing is big amongst some of my autocross brethren, but you'll need a good set up to be competitive. I'll be going to Target Sports more often. Another great facility and good people!
Sure bring them along! Can't guarantee that we'll use them, but I think it would be nice to have available.
You should keep a list of the results! I tried to compile it afterwards last time and it didn't work out too well. http://mnsubaru.com/threads/3rd-annual-mnsubaru-dyno-day-rs-motors-10-8-11.36613/page-4#post-622655
