    Thanks Kong for the fotos!!!!

Ok.... so we decided to add E85 to the above setup.... on wastegate boost....
very preppy... but damns does it eat up gas even for wastegate. Turbo so little it just takes a stab of the throttle and you're rolling into positive manifold pressure. However I'm getting a little lean spot rolling into boost and misfire when i'm lightly coasting while on the gas lightly at around 2300-2400rpms. Had a tough time starting up the car too. I will change my fuel filter since it seems to be a little old. Keep that in mind for your reference guys!!

The 255 tires are too fat. They rub into my lower coilover spring rings. Luckily the STi rear knuckles you can pivot them to add more negative or positive camber. My coilovers have camber plates too so I will give it full positive camber at the knuckle, then bring it back to -2.0° with the camber plates. The fenders are pulled even MORE than before to clear the rubber. It's nice that the 12kg/mm(672lb/in) springs keep travel to a minimal; 3" total maybe?

    fast forward.......

We changed out a front O2 sensor to test a few things out. Still mis-fires.... Sparks plugs changed (gapped to .023"), new fuel filter, so what's next is taking the fuel pump assembly out and seeing if that filter there on the pump is clogged. I will also have an external surge tank made so I don't have the fuel slosh at the track.

The misfire is RPM dependent. 2300-3000rpms. We'll try a couple of things to see what we can do. A compression test and leak down is in the near future to check the health of the engine.

There is a noise... coming from the front of the engine. Sounds like piston slap on idle but the sound doesn't really worsen with throttle. Sounds to be a worn out tensioner. I'm wondering if this is making my timing belt loose, and making the cam angle change causing the cam sensors to sense different angles and effecting something to cause RPM-based misfires? I'll check it out soon and get a new tensionsor if it needs it.

I swapped out the injectors to another set, and we uncapped them. Then...we unhooked the wastegate vacuum hose. 19-20ish PSI of boost and tapering to 10psi at 6400rpms. I wonder if the flapper is getting blown open? lol I love the boost!!!! Now that it boost a bit, I get a little bit of compressor surge when I let off the throttle. I believe the recirc hose is pinched a little under the throttle body or something... so the turbo will surge on higher boost only and rolling off the throttle enough to not open the BPV.

But the misfires are still here. I will look at the fuel pump and see if the filter/sock is all ewww'd up.

ahhh..... let me put back on the 20G and then it'll be a close match. lol This thing dies before 6000rpms.... This is like a 2500-5500 rpm power band.

BTW, the exhaust headers are Legacy 2.0R primary runners to custom fobia 2-1 uppipe. The runners wrap around like JDM twinscroll headers.

Eagle rods, lightest Subaru rods you can buy, good option if you want to keep mass to a minimum.

It's fun seeing this project progress.
