wife and I are working with police, it's been an active case since the original theft. And no, the shop wasn't stupid. probably googled it a bit, realized they got a retardedly good deal on a set of very spendy wheels, and priced them accordingly. the 479 price was per wheel.

Such crazyness. Now if only they can catch the little bastards maybe we can sell their inside parts to a pawn shop...

I'm still trying to figure out who got screwed in this deal. My head is hurting. Seems like everyone made money or is happy.

Literally nobody got screwed. Yet. Once theify theif gets to chat with the police, that may change. Overall it's been a crazy good month. I got to see my soldiers again, I got an awesome job, my wheels found me again. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Seems like you and the thief both made out pretty well on this deal!

How did you prove they were yours?

Details someone not familiar with the wheels wouldn't be able to provide via email before we even arrive.

It's amazing the pawn shop went along with that. I would think they see people pull that as a scam once in a while. I'm sure having the police involved helped a lot.

Great to hear you got them back! Now you can use them as winter wheels!
