I'm trying to sell a car on craigslist, a 2001 Imprezia 2 door coupe with a blown engine and one of the people interested thought I should post it here. I can't post for 30 days though. Anyone interested? Check it out on Craigslist look for a 2001 Imprezia 2 door coupe.
@Genemn Hello! I'm interested, as are many others i'm sure. Could you Copy Paste the link to craigslist here? I tried looking on Craigslist....but i'm not interested in looking through all of the other trash to find it. lol Welcome to MNSubaru! -Josh
Co-worker told me about it recently, bought my WRX a few months ago and now that spring is here I started asking him about mods
https://mankato.craigslist.org/cto/6024197609.html That looks like it. FWIW, it's obviously heavily modified as the owner said it has a timing chain. Could be an EZ or an FB swap though
New member here! I hear about it from a coworker who's brother was a part of the Subie club until he went Honda
I just noticed this thread.....my story is a little convoluted. I was interested in an '84 Audi 4000S that my uncle was trying to sell me in highschool (2002ish). And I started talking to a guy at the SCCA display at the Auto Show who was rallying a 4000S, and he mentioned the MN Audi Yahoo group. I began hanging around there, and when I got my first Subaru ('85 GL wagon), I started posting about it on the newly-created MNAudi.com forums, and Todd told me about MNSubaru (as I recall, Todd was hosting both sites at the time). In 2004, I was working at Best Buy in Minnetonka, and a few of the members here were meeting at Ridgedale shortly before my shift started to caravan to a RallyX. So I swung in and saw my first STi (Matt's, IIRC. I think Russ was there, too), and met my first MNSubaru members. Wasn't long before I started coming to Firestone.
Found the site looking for Local meets, and realized its quite an interesting site so i decided to stay and check it out
lol, welcome! We function more like a family/dis functional family around here. Enjoy your stay fam! -Josh
found via internet search, my 06 is great, been serviced at dealer since new, but now I am looking for resources/upgrades that will keep my Impreza running and perform for many more years.
I've been around for too long and I really want a subaru but then I back out at the last minute. To answer the question, i've been here since forums started pretty much.

Well, since Firestone and Porky's are both gone ... Edit, yes I know fs is still there, it's just no longer a meeting place
Yeah, I've owned a few Toys in my time. A Celica back in the early 1980s and couple of Camrys in the 90s. I even looked at a 2018 Rav4 and a 2019 Highlander before buying the new Forester the other day. The wife did not like the Rav4 but did like the Highlander. I didn't want the Highlander because of the higher price and much lower fuel mileage. When she saw the Forester Sport she was sold as much as I was.
