Here are our Imprezas after a sexy carwash. The black one is mine. I am mostly on MN65 and sometimes on MN47. Honk at me if you see me!

I really hope that I can say that's me, but, two things: 1. That car has a spoiler at the hatch, I don't. 2. I have crossbars attached to the roof rack, that car doesn't.
I did spot a black bugeye about a month ago in Spring Lake Park near O'Reilly's. There were two guys in the car. We waived at each other. Maybe that is the car you've spotted.

joined today, owned a subaru for a month. already had headgaskets, water pump, and timing belt replaced. Other then that I have enjoyed this car! The community is insane! Today I slammed it with coilovers, went smooth sept for the fact the break lines run threw the struts so you HAVE to disconnect and bleed them... 2.jpg

I'm not new, but I've been gone a long time! I had a 99 2.5rs for about 8 years. I sold it for a Focus ST, and now as of this winter I'm back in the Subaru game with a BRZ.

Hi all, Ken here. I can finally post on forums now. Been coming to mnsubaru site awhile now and finally registered this morning. Great wealth of knowledge. I got a project going on now to rebuilding my 06 Baja Turbo. Shooting for 450whp daily driver. shortblock specs are from motion lab 500+ build. Any other info and question I have...I will be picking out the brian of every members on mnsubaru site. Oh yeah, this is also my first build, so I will be researching a lot. Another enthusiastic neewbie.

Hello all! Just got recommended to join this community of Subaru lovers! I'm very new to these car groups and car meets, seeing as I've only been to a couple of them since a month ago. Currently I drive a Slowbaru 2016 Impreza Sport. Had it for only about a year now, and so far I am loving it! I hope to meet a lot of you at upcoming meets, and I'll be sure to give you a wave if I see you on the road! 20170408_143314.jpg

Hello subaru community. I had no idea you guys were here until a random guy at a random holiday station told me about the forums. I purchased my 04 sti about a year ago and I totally love it. Has a ton of kinks to work out but plans are moving forward. Just moved back from Washington and the community out there is huge and full of very cool dudes. Hoping to meet some of you guys, and make new friends!

Hello everyone, I have been wanting a Subaru since the first STI came to our shores. I remember having a poster of the 05 STI in WRB with the gold wheels and all hanging in my dorm room. Recently I have been fortunate enough to be at a point in my life where I could finally pull the trigger and join the ranks of the Subaru club:). The short version of my search goes like this. I wanted that dream blobeye in WRB only to find out that the 6'4'' wide model body I currently live in, doesn't fit very well. Not enough that I couldn't drive it (which was a blast) but enough that I couldn't justify buying it for a daily driver. Maybe if the steering wheel tilted or could go up higher. Then I tried to find a manual Baja turbo, won't be as fast but its unique and so ugly it beautiful. Same issue as the STI head hits the roof legs hit the wheel. Then I started looking at the new model WRX (cause of the new engine) would have gone with a 2017 but wanted the 18" wheels and inverted front struts and all weather package that came with the premium but the inches in head room lost made it so my head hit the roof. Before I considered waiting for the 2018 I did spend a great deal of time looking for a 09 or newer LGT only to find that the manuals are hard to find or they have a ton of miles on them or they are across the country. I then went down another road and tried to find a manual Forester XT because they were the most comfortable for me to be in. I have been in that search since for about 6 months when this fell into my lap. Introducing my 2011 Forester XT with only 35,000 miles on it. Yes its a 4eat, but I felt this was the best unicorn I was going to get and someday in the distant future I want to do at the least do a 6 speed swap. It came with a Cobb AP, Cobb down pipe, Q300 catback exhaust, Whiteline rear bar and strut tower and my favorite piece the factory MoMo **** knob from Subaru. I have had it about 3 weeks now and its the most fun I have had in a vehicle in a very long time. I have added the Cobb intake and flashed to the stage 2 SF+. Next is new wheels and tires, then Coil overs(maybe), then a bigger turbo (plus the extra stuff I may or may not need to support that). I have a dream of beating my friends stock STI in stoplight racing, someday I'll get there. I'll be seeing you around the metro, play safe out there. New here, hello! 2017 has been mostly garbage vehicle wise, three transmissions out in four months including an 04 accord, 98 accord, and 03 Dodge neon. But this has led the lady and myself to both owning Subaru for the first time! She's had a legacy for a few months now and I just got this 2.5 last week. This was a half assed, part time, project car which I wasn't too crazy about, but with low miles for the price and my love of the 06, it won me over. Now, I know the 2.5 is a silly choice to most here, but after the problems I've had, just needing a solid commuter for school, and wanting to learn to do my own work as much as possible, made a little easier w/o turbo, I decided on this beast. I've developed a massive list of things to do so it should be a fun and interesting summer. If anyone has any suggestions for a mechanic (I want to do a full inspection to make sure nothing was messed up when previous owner was getting ready to turbo it) probably going with RS Motors since they're highly recommended around here, or a body shop (looking to take both spoilers off and knock out a dozen little rust spots) that would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to amusing you all with my questions, and thanks for keeping this place going. I've already learned so much and seeing the cars and heart put in to the work around here is amazing.

    Hello

Ryan here, from East Grand Forks MN, I have a midnight black pearl 2002 WRX wagon that has 210k miles now today and DD 100 miles 5x a week. My 15 year old son thinks this is going to be his one day, but he is mistaken. He has small wrists and hands so perfect for the plug swap out :) We both are more than entertained with this car and are getting it back into shape. I will post a picture in the near future.
