First post here but I was looking to get into a WRX and I went and looked at this WRX.

This is a joke. The people selling it pose as a dealership and lied to me about the car having a salvage title. The car is in terrible shape and they have hid it with a cheap body kit. The engine in this car isn't the original engine. Complete scam! Stay away from these crooks!

Typically, when I see all that "hella sick customz" body kit work, I assume it has a bad title or was in a wreck.. 9/10 that holds true.

Keep your eyes on this site as good, reputable people are always looking to sell their cars. Best of luck!

Agreed, the gap between the headlights and hood is too large. That and the missing fogs is a good sign that it's been in an accident. Anyone looking at buying this should tread carefully.

Just to be crystal clear, I reserve the right to direct relentless, merciless ridicule towards anyone here who buys a car from this guy after they have read about my experience. The fact that he's coming up with additional questionable cars is not helping things.

The guy who's selling that car is a financing party? Group? Im not sure what to call it. But story here is, I was trying to buy a S2000 and the small dealer applied me through finance with him. Turns out I didnt get approved for the loan, and days later the car was sold. So i told him i found an 05 wrx and will i be approved for that car. Turns out i needed a co-signer, so I went with a bank from the other dealer for the Wrx, which approved me. I called him back to tell him that just forget everything and cancel the loan. He then told me he have an sti clean title everything if im interested. So the same day before i went to pick up my Wrx, i thought i should check this one out first. Got there and yes it was this same exact car. He told me the motor is jdm sti and they just barely got it swapped. Im pretty sure he's lying and full of ****. Funny thing was, i was looking at the fake brembo ebay brake "covers" they had on the stock pad and he was like," oh yea and upgraded brakes too obviously". I was just thinking to myself like do he really think im that dumb and not see that its a fakeass brembo cover only? I just nodded my head, told him im not interested and got out of there as quick as i can and went to pick up my Wrx. What a scammer. He even text me after i left and said if i find another car, they can finance me at 5%. What? You guys just denied me 2 times and now that i told you i got approved for another car and you gone give me this bs? Forgot what the finance place is called but its in or around Roseville. I advised you guys avoid them.

Your story and the pictures of that terrible car made unnecessarily angry so I decided to look into them to hopefully prevent someone from getting scammed. I searched the phone number on the window in the background of one of their craigslist pictures (612-886-3114) and found the name of the "dealership" and "finance company"
So, anyone looking to buy a used car, STEER CLEAR of these two places:

    First Source Financial: https://www.firstsourcefinancialmn.com/
    and
    Motors 88: http://www.motors88.com/home/

The owner's name is Patrick O'Connor and he is a slimy scam artist.

I believe that was rolling around Rochester for a bit. I saw a girl driving it a hand full of times around town and noticed the sticker but never met the owner. I'm pretty sure that's the Forester, I'm assuming she sold it or traded it off.
