my wife at the store with our daughter came out to this... She left a note. Lets just say it was colorful.
I think most people can only park using other cars as a guide rather than the stripes on the parking lot (hence why the truck is over the line while your wife parked way to the other side of her space). The only problem is that they can't judge how close they are to the car they are parking by. You should have to prove parking proficiency before you are allowed to purchase a vehicle so that you can only buy something that you are capable of handling. Full-size truck sales would be way down and bicycle sales up. People suck.
I agree with pillboy about how people park using other cars as a guide, the weird thing to me is that it must have been hard for the driver of the truck to exit his own vehicle?
There's a guy at my work that would be consistently sideways and completely over the lines every day, he finally capped it off by hitting the guy who was parked next to him when he was leaving.. I find myself wondering why would you back Into a spot every day if you consistently suck at it? I usually give up after a couple tries if I can't do something? I'll try to get a picture sometime soon of the idiot.
About one third of our work parking lot is people who back into their spaces. Some are really good at it and some look like they did it with their eyes closed (it is way easier to back out of a space than into one). Obviously not many people take pride in a job well done anymore. I have been known to get back into my car to recenter it in the space if I am too embarrassed to keep walking away from such a hack job. The thing that worries me are the people who don't straighten their wheels once they land in a space. I have visions of them getting back into their car and in their haste to get on with their pathetic, fail-filled lives, have their front end swing into the vehicle next to them when they exit the spot. And vandalism is not the way to teach these people a lesson, so say nothing of the legality and moral low-road taken when you partake of such retaliation.
Got a photo of the guy who can't park.. Got him back though by setting off his alarm with subaru powered loudness
I didn't take these pictures, but I love the idea of carrying chalk around to help a**holes park better!!
So some moron(s) decided that parking head to head on a parking ramp was a good idea with a huge plow on one of them. That tiny car couldn't even squeeze through.
This guy is a real winner, obstructing at least one handicap space, (watched a person run at a good clip from this car), and they left it running!
Followed the tan car into the lot and she parks like this. I was right behind her and she got out and walked awayKeep in mind there's a half car length between her and the car behind her so I had to back out of the row. I decided to back right up to her bumper. Take that lady!
A friend of mine took this picture, think that this one might be hard to top. apparently the people driving this car were returning a child car seat, and parked in front of the wrong store, they ended up leaving the car in this position and walking to the Babies R Us store in the same strip.
Epic! Four spaces, one car at Southdale Mall yesterday. Folks, we are looking at a professional here. Do not attempt this on your own. This person has likely trained for years in order to accomplish these heroic feats.
I see your professional and I submit this EXTREME bad parker, from Anderson Lakes parkway in Eden Prairie, taken this morning. Anyone can park poorly in a parking lot, it takes a real bad parker to park in a street and exit the car during a snowstorm. BTW I was driving but I didn't take the picture, my son did.
I want to know why Froggy isn't driving a Subaru in the snowstorm. Too much snow for the king of winter cars? At least they did this in a wide area of Anderson Lakes Parkway rather than in a narrow two lane section. And it looks like their emergency flashers are on.
The first time this lady parked on the parkway it was where it narrowed to one lane, hazards or not parking in the road seems a little risky, consider how many state trouper cars are hit each year. Too much salt for my Suby, and the Jeep can go over what gets the "king of winter cars" stuck
Wish i grabbed a picture (didn't want to turn around and then stop on the road), but had a F-350 parked in the middle of a 55 MPH country 2 lane Highway.... during the middle of the snow storm Saturday. No one in the vehicle. No lights. Nothing. I almost nailed them, saved my car from almost going in the ditch after avoiding them (was going more like 40 because of visibility, thankfully), and managed to keep going. As far as I know, no one hit them. Idiots....
I try to keep a tow rope in my car to resolve problems like this, but it's currently in my wife's vehicle in the dealer while it gets a new engine. :-/
+1 for the tow rope in the vehicle! Ever since I bought my first car when I was 16, 83 Grand prix, I've always had a tow strap in my trunk. Funny though, I never needed it for that vehicle.
I was telling a friend about this thread, and he sent me this link a day later. http://freebeerandhotwings.com/b/Do...ke-Spray-Paint-Video/-744038500250310815.html

Watching from the from window was soooo much fun
Another solid contribution. Nice, bduncs. Frogy's reminded me of this one... Probably from the same storm... Whatcha doin parkin over there fella? Loloops
I would pay someone to photo shop the wheels on that Cadi black so I could say it was my co-workers car.
Stupid old lady. Watched stupid old lady pull up. Stupid look on her face. Looked at me stupidly. Tried to pull into parking spot as stupidly as possible. Succeeded. Went into gas station. Came back out. Opened her trunk. Stupidly looked at it. Stupidly smoked a cigarette. Looked at me stupidly some more. Got back in her stupid car. Put her car in stupid, and stupidly drove away. Stupid old lady
I'm guessing this is the SA off rice and 36, people park like this all the time in these spots. Actually I got yelled at by an employee for parking closer because they have to swing the doors open to get to the garbage bins. So more like stupid SA for not having the lines or garbage shelter in a different spot.
