no, because you're providing an input to select a specific ratio, which defeats the "continuously variable" portion.
There is a lady that works at the Champlin State Farm with a Dark Grey WRX with 2 cannons on the end. Looks AWESOME! I see it every once in awhile.
Followed a really clean WR Blue 2.5RS coupe with gold wheels heading north on East River Road in Fridley around 9pm last night. Don't see too many of those around, especially in such nice condition.
On my short like 3 mile commute to get my MN Subaru stickers from @Kneel Weiß I saw a grey 15-17' STi across the road from the BP gas station in Brooklyn Park, saw a blue 11-14', and a Silver 11-14' WRX or STi on my way back into Champlin on 169.
Saw a Sedona Red Forester XS on 694E around 130pm. Looked like it may have been a little lowered on after market wheels.
Saw this sitting in a tow lot in Northeast. Doesn't look like it was in an accident so I'm guessing there may have been some buffoonery that led to it being there.
Spotted a WRB Hawkeye this morning that was merging onto Highway 100 south from the Duluth Street entrance - mudflaps, black wingless trunk, aftermarket headlights and possibly straight piped. I was in the Silver bugeye that sped up to get ahead of you so I could exit on 55.
My god there are alot of new WRX's and STi's rolling around! I can't recall all of the ones that i saw over the past 3-4 days. But let's just say that, if you own one, you've been spotted.
Another tow lot spotting, and I've got to think someone here will recognize it. Looks familiar but I can't remember who had it.
No, it's not at our auction lot. It's just sitting inside the fence at a small independent towing company. Judging by the note on the window it looks like it was a repo so it probably will be auctioned at some point. Sad to see too, seems like a really nice project that someone would hate to lose. Looks to have a massive rotated turbo, Invidia exhaust, KS Tech scoop delete, and tons of other mods. Also has the exact same model and size tire I have on my bugeye.
Front bumper was busted up a little and stuffed in the back seat, didn't really see any other damage on it.
You're right. It is the infamous NF Performance Speeding Bullet. Man, that sucks to see in a tow yard.
Saw @Krazylegz1485 on 65 today in the wagon, went back and forth in lanes passing each other but I got off at 242 and he kept going on 65. And yea my car did get sideswiped 3 weeks ago and I'm not happy about it
Was pretty sure that was you. Been driving the bomber Legacy to work while working on the brakes on the WRX. How long have you had the white one?
Wow, I never thought I would see this day.... Looks like the owner I sold it to did not take care of the car at all. Damn, what a waste!
Not sure how it was treated but it didn't seem to be in bad shape. Front bumper was probably damaged when it was picked up by the towing company. In any case, if it was a repo and the owner doesn't get it back it'll most likely be popping up at an auction in the area sometime soon. I'd really like to see it end up in the hands of someone here if that happens. The biggest auction places in the area are Copart, IAA, and Mannheim so I'll try to keep an eye out.
Saw @Krazylegz1485 this morning in the legacy, he honked at me then I saw him lol. Then on the way home I saw a black bugeye non wrx wagon on hanson and prarie drive or some cross street, he waved I nodded back. Then saw a white 06-07 non wrx sedan on viking
Saw a dark green bugeye wagon on black steelies this afternoon in Centerville, only got a quick look but it seemed pretty clean, sounded like possibly a mild aftermarket exhaust?
Only saw the rear and driver's side but I think 06/07 2.5 RS (assuming; sedan with no wing or scoop), black or a really dark blue, at the intersection of 99th and 65 in Blaine a little after noon. Had a white MNSubaru sticker on back glass and blue MNSubaru swoosh on the LR door glass.
Spotted Mrs. @Ron driving N on 52 near the 94 split just after 4pm in her FXT. Also right now, at the Holiday off of 280 and Como, WRB 02-03 WRX sedan, and kind of looks like one of the @GrimmSpeed vehicles. Sounds wonderful!
I believe that was the same 2.5RS I followed heading northbound on East River Road in Fridley a couple weeks ago. Don't remember the license plate, but I do remember how the muffler looked.
