This morning at about 8:45 on Highway 100 near the 55 exit, a red wingless bugeye passed me and we exchanges waves! I actually spotted you a few days prior in Uptown parked on Blaisdell and 28th too - clean ride.

 

Yesterday afternoon, Cub Foods parking lot off Hwy 100 & 36th in Crystal:

1. Newer red WRX sedan with ninja star looking winter wheel setup.

2. Light grey/blue newer STI with orange winter wheels.

 

Spotted: Aggressive Outback in Uptown

 

Gave thumbs to a sweet outback on crosstrek wheels. Thinking maybe it was @housemusic1 ? I was in the girlfriend's Mazda3.

 

Yep! My wife was like: "is that another crazy Subaru guy giving you a thumbs up because of your car?" She doesn't get it. I saw you were in a 3 car caravan. Assuming you were at the open house across the street?

 

Yep, our friends are looking for a house and we like to tag along to get my real life hgtv fix. I've been training my girlfriend to identify the different subaru models and your crosstrek wheels + outback body combo really confused her.

 

What did they think about the house? We've lived here for 8 years, and have only met the sellers once, so we've never even been inside that house.

 

The house is in decent shape. It seems to have had an addition upstairs at one point and a wall removed on the main level so the layout is pretty unique. The garage looks ready to collapse at any day though so it was ruled out as an option.

 

We're getting ready to put our house on the market once the weather warms up, and I'm using theirs as a barometer for what we should list at. That house went on the market, and was "active contingent" within 24 hours....then all of a sudden they're having an open house, so something must've fell through.

 

Based on the last post, I'd say the garage.

Was over at Wild Mind Artisan Ales this afternoon and there was a nice OEM-looking 09-13 FXT (silver), and then a good looking narrow body DGM WRX wagon with bright green wheels, and green club stickers. The WRX was heading out as I was leaving as well.

 

The wrx sounds like ofspunk but I'm not sure he is still around

 

His WRX is on at least the second owner since him I know, but maybe made its way back to the metro area?

I figured it was you even though we have never met, but from who i know has a nice fxt you fit.
Im the manager across the street at the cabinet shop.
I did the walnut in the merch shop and if you come back this weekend we are doing an install of a 16ft banquette out of walnut that my shop built

 

Its treated me pretty well these last 3 years still love it.

 

Oh nice! I live only about 5 min from there but have never ventured to WMAA! I think @ofspunk7 would be quite pleased to see the great shape you've kept the WRX in!

 

Couple random ones from recently.





This one was at U-pull (East Bethel) a couple times recently. Didn't notice the swoosh on the rear window until after you guys were in the building.

 

Couldn't get a pic while I was driving but spotted a white '15+ Outback 3.6R on 94 eastbound in WI today. Had tinted tail lights, blacked out emblems, and what looked like black Sparco Terra wheels, with a black trunk (storage box, not car part) strapped down on the roof.

 

Silver bugeye in ditch off of ramp 10E to 610W (Coon Rapids) Sunday morning. My wife says, "Roads that slippery?" I replied, "No, WRX driver."

 

Fixed that for ya.

 

I saw a fellow '15+ WRB WRX pulling into the BBY headquarters visitors lot as I was walking to mine. Anyone on here?

Saw a wannabe WRX on 694 westbound. It was a debadged Impreza with a fake scoop, a wing, and a fart cannon. I might have fallen for the ruse had it not been for scoop being the wrong type and it wasn't put on all that well.

I would have, but I was driving alone. I need an R2 or BB8 unit in shotgun to co-drive for me.

 

I know it's not a Subie, but I spotted a Fiero today. Very clean inside, and the owner obviously doesn't want anyone messing with the car (see 2nd pic).

For whatever reason, I have a soft spot for these cars and to see such a fine specimen made my morning...

 

This guy knows what's up.

 

Back 40 of Menards lot in Blaine. Looks like it's been there all night.

 

I see that one every now and then on 65, and I think he works at a phone place over by Menards.

Also, were you on 65 today by chance? Bright green stocking hat?

Went to BP Morrie's yesterday to get some parts and the new guy there was trying to pressure us into a 2018 STi.
