Weekly Friday Meet

South of 694 is Central, not 65.

The Flameburger is very much still there, but I don't know how well a meet would work there, the parking lot is pretty small.

 

Sounds good let me know. We are over in the Pine Glen area right by the park. That park is a nice park for a meet as well plus you can literally jump my fence in my yard to get into the park lol.

 

I might be able to make a Friday evening here or there. May I put Old Chicago in Roseville up as a suggestion? It's in the Har Mar mall and the lot there is fairly large and should be able to accommodate plenty of cars. I work in the area and that lot never seems to fill up so it is possible we could occupy a corner.

 

The Flameburger on Rice has a huge lot right behind it that can hold everyone.

Huge nope on the Old C. We used to go there for our Tuesday meets and spent a loooot of money there. The service was garbage despite that.

 

It actually is a good suggestion. In the summer that place fills with car clubs like uni used to. It might be worth checking out again to see if it could be a viable replacement for fs.

 

I second Old Chicago. I see car meets in the lot there a decent amount in the back of the lot. Plus the interior can hold a decent amount of people.

 

Have fun getting terrible service.

Last time I went there they had good service...better then the service you had at Stooots this last tuesday...

 

I don't get awful service there when I'm there, granted I'm pretty much only there for drinks when I'm there.

I think you folks are on your own tonight. The Z comes out of hibernation this weekend. Maybe we'd be down for going to OC lot next Friday tho!

Someone said MOA, I was thinking maybe the Fridays near MOA, it has a large parking lot, dont know how busy it will be inside though.

 

Wagners Drive inn in Brooklyn Park off 81 and 694, ts easy to get too and has delicious food, there is an office building next door that is currently unused with losts of parking.

 

That's actually a pretty solid idea. I'd be down for that.

Granted, it's not super central but it's close to me lol

 

its not that central your right but the owner has been supporting the car community for years and I want to support a small local business rather than a chain.
