Alrighty. Certainly appreciate the sharing of the knowledge. My wagon currently has 145k on it and it's rarely driven "hard". Looks like I'll be shopping for some new lube this week(end).

Any idea what Morrie's sells the Extra-S at? 4 qts on Amazon is almost $55 w/ shipping.

Damn, after reading about the cocktail mix, I'm going to have to change it with extra-s gear oil. I did the cocktail gear oil changed about 6k miles ago and at first, it shifts smooth, but now, it's kinda hard to get in gear and it grinds going into reverse. Thanks for the info guys.

Finally got these installed! I first installed 3M paint protection film where the cross bar feet touch the car, and finally got the cross bars on today. Now I just need to mount the bike racks.

For what it's worth, I ran the tranny cock in my 350whp/tq wrx with 0 issues. It actually worked great and had absolutely no problems.. The car went through 3 engines and a ton of hard driving.

Good choice on a great, quality piece. Running the same one on my '06 that I had run on my '11 (some tiny modifications needed but all the holes were already there) but yours looks like the thinner version and no stinger on yours either. Good enough for a street car though.

Iirc, they 04+ sti scoop doesn't fit the 02-03.

But the 02-03 JDM sti scoop does fit. And if that's the part, it is a very nice, expensive part indeed.

I think I've seen the jdm sti scoop, I didn't think it looked like that... wish I would have saved more and got one. Looks better than my 3" scoop.

If you got that from @Terry Ammerman , he's a real cool guy.

That is not a JDM scoop by any means. Ebay, Seibon, (enter any other aftermarket scoop manufacturer here)...but not JDM.

    JDM scoops looks like these...

No it's not jdm . they have the center support built into them. This is a fiberglass knock off. It is definitely a larger scoop to be looking over than stock.

I've been draining the ATF out of the outback (super black fluid, omg) and refilling, the last coupe of days.

last night I fabricated a clutch line, it's has the same fittings as the brakes.
now I can install the ss clutch line!

oh, and I fixed the Z!

It's character from the anime Ranma. Young magazine, some ****ty Japanese teeny-bopper manga magazine made a logo based on the cartoon character and used it on their cover. Then at some point Petter Solberg had one on his rally car (co-driver side at first, then drivers side only later on). Naturally the subaru fanboy community latched onto it and it was a really popular sticker to have in the early/mid 2000s. We made a pedo-rally pig satire sticker that I used to sneak onto peoples cars at Firestone... allegedly.

Swapped my Kartboy shift knob for a Anarchy Motive shift knob.

    Shifting feels a lot smoother.

Working on getting the Wrx ready for winter. Last winter the car road like hell so this winter planned to change to some softer higher springs. Well guess I have no choice now.
