They're probably the 16" in the picture (they only make 16" and 17" in this wheel). These are only rally wheels in the sense that the Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally Edition was a rally car  (these wheels are made by OZ as it happens). Your Braids are much more the thing, but as this particular car I don't expect to actually rally, I'm fine with that.

I ordered yesterday aft, they were mounted, balanced and shipped by the end of the business day and will arrive tomorrow. Tire Rack is getting almost Amazonian in it's efficiency these days (been a few years since I ordered from them).

Yeah, that's a possibility then. I was just doing rough eyeballing off the bolt pattern (figuring probably 5x114.3 / 5x4.5 (same thing)) and then estimating. So just a bit longer spokes then (1/2" or so); excited to see.

Lol, yeah, I feel you on the "rally" of the wheels and that Lancer. Mine are definitely for the job, just wish they got the use more often.

I'm happy that TireRack is getting even more efficient, I'll probably not get many more seasons out of the Yoko Geos I'm running (almost 2 years total on them in use, but they've been mounted over 3). So I'll probably go through them for the next set too (maybe a slightly closer to OEM size of all terrain rubber).

Nice but Id say youll need another can so the color doesnt show through. Or you could do something like I have on mine. Mask off the little dip in the hood and spray the plastidip around that just for something different. But its your car, do whatever you want. Im just throwing ideas out there

    Actually, since it's a 4x4, I decided I wanted duallys.

Yeah, you think I might need flares though?

Went to my first autoX event Saturday and had a great time! I've been to 4 events at DCTC but it has always been ran in a open lap configuration.

At the end of the day i was in the middle on the leader boards but could have pushed it much harder, maybe at the next event.

Definitely encourage those who haven't been to a track event to do so :)

Was it the Austin Healey Speed Run at Amery Airport? I haven't been to that one, but I hear it's fun. That club used to do a hill climb out at Afton Alps (on the road) and I went once...it was a blast!

Washed up and waxed the FRS today! I spent way more time that normal, but there is definitely a sense of accomplishment. The paint was actually in really excellent shape...no door dings, chips, dent etc. So nice to have a car in basically perfect condition...but now I want it to stay that way!

Fixed some exhaust shields with SS hose clamps, sounds way better now! Also fixed a loose rear end link while it was on the ramps. Half hour of work turned into two once I opened up the beer!

Would love to auto x just for the hell of it sometime, but don't wanna pay for those daily driver-turned-racecar repair costs.

Negative ghost rider. Putting her back on the road and letting her go to a new home. She WAS my first love tho...so it'll be hard to let her go. :(
So try rallyx! I did for 5 years, did really well, had a blast doing it, and never really had any "repair costs". Tires after a few years, but that's about it. It can be kind of hard on your suspension, but used sets are cheap! ;)

    Plus, more sideways=more fun!!

Ahem, I think he said autox, not rallyx! Haha, either is a blast and highly recommend trying both. Autox really isn't that hard on your car, besides the tires. Rallyx is a hair harder on your car, but if you aren't too concerned about your paint and don't drive like a complete idiot, you should be fine.

The only damage that i ever had in rallyx was damage to the cheap rims that i was running. Field rocks can do a number to the lips. Easily solved with a set that you only use for rally(which was my winter beater set).

I find it hard to believe that rallyxing would be harder on drivetrain components than dry pavement at autox's. But it's only opinion/theory, so whatevs. :p

Drivetrain, typically rallyx is much easier on the transmission & axles. Suspension, rallyx is much harder on struts/shocks. Kinda a trade-off.

Though I'll take blown struts over a blown transmission. But frankly, neither is that hard on your car.

If I haven't sold the beater car I have by the next rallycross, I'll be out there with it.

My exhaust was starting to burn holes into my bumper (because of the track), so i got longer hangers and love them!

Dipped my wheels :) I don't really sure how I like them... I've been getting mixed opinions about them. Good thing the paint is easy to remove ;)

Hopefully this weekend I will be switching out my intake manifold for the tgv deleted one. I replaced the fuel hoses under the he manifold so hopefully that fixes that nice smell come winter time.

Installed Rokblokz (short version) yesterday and got a wash. Had to remove rear wheels, ended up drilling out most of the old bolts from the 'splashguards'... that was fun. I'm glad I threw them over the existing splashguards though, can't wait to see how they hold up this winter. Got some MAFS cleaner and did that, ecu is still re-learning but it feels more responsive, definitely felt faster after a car wash! /s Can of cleaner said I can get +5hp AT THE WHEELS!!!
