Installed new head unit in the brz. Can't get the backup camera to work. Ordered a new one to make sure its not a camera incompatibility issue.

Stock backup camera? The camera used in the 2015+ WRX (and likely a lot of other current and recent models) requires a +5vdc power feed, not the +12vdc you might expect.

Aftermarket. Most likely the same power supply it was getting pre-new radio.

No was wired different for the stock setup. The stock setup checks for the camera on boot so you had to have it wired into a constant 12v source. I changed the wiring for the new radio to the standard tied into the rev light circuit. Still no go. Ordered a cheap (although highly recommend via reviews) camera. Will be here today so will install that one and see if that fixes the issue.

Installed my Screaming Banshee Shockwave horn. mounted it in the engine bay next to the battery. figured less wear there and much easier than taking my front bumper off. routed the horn to an LED button i mounted in the car so i now i have 2 horns. One for me, and one that a passenger can hit if they want too since it is mounted in the center.

    https://screaming-banshee.com/products/banshee-horn

    123 decible air horn.

Got the issue fixed. Was just the installer was an idiot...You would think yellow rca wire from camera into yellow rca port on radio...yea no the radio backup camera jack was brown...and no where in the book that I found did it have the back panel pictured with what the ports were. Only thing telling me that it was the correct port was engraved in the metal back plate on the radio was bkc..backup camera I guess. Plugged in there worked like a charm.

Holy cow. Just watched a YouTube video of it. Did you hook it into the lights and stuff or just for sound? Seems awesome.

The nickel-sized windshield chip that's been on my car for at least a year finally spidered out. The crack is like 3 feet in total, straight across my windshield

Having a shop come pickup my car, replace it and bring to back to work for me.

If you look in front of the steering column, you'll see the white line that'll go across the majority of the windshield...

Now that's a thirsty Subaru. I'll bring you an extra quart of t6 for the cruise.

You're supposed to put the plug back in BEFORE you add the oil.

Wanted to see what Torque would look like on a tablet...will probably stick with my phone.

Also bought a dash cam and tried it out today. Video quality is not that great even though it's supposed to be 1080p but can't complain for $30

( I don't drive with the tablet mounted like that )

Took advantage of the nice day we have today. I removed my spare a couple years ago and since have had an issue with stuff falling into the space the spare tire used to reside in. To fix that I have made a cover plate with a hatch so I can use the spare tire area for storage of things.
Nothing pretty here just functifonable. Will add a handle and a hinge to the cover in the future. Plan to use a stock all weather trunk liner ontop of it.

Meh figured would be nice to have a small space in the trunk to store things I keep in the car without robbing it of trunk space or have them rolling around while hoooning

Bolt the sucker down. Or sell that shiz, and put a pancake under your seat.

    I prefer waffles.

I've considered a powered 8" or something. Nice little self contained thing. Would probably put.out about as much as what I've got now, and I'd maybe even be able to feel it more if it was right under the seat.

Did i give you a sample listen of my setup when you stopped by? It's not small enough to fit under the seat, but the box has a super small footprint in the trunk! And bolting it down was a must. Because rallyrallyrally!

Unfortunately I've yet to see your backseat. Would definitely like to check it out tho. I've got a single 12" sealed box currently so it's about as small as it can get unless I switch to a truck style box or downsize the sub completely. The one nice thing about the current box is the angled side matches the back of the seat perfectly.

That's nuts lol. I changed my oil yesterday and it looked like I burned 3/4 of a quart of T6 in 3000 miles, maybe less.

Is your torque measured in quarts of oil lost per rotation?
