For Christmas I got the folding tire rack I had been looking at, as well as a battery charger and some Snap On universal joint sockets.

Originally mounted directly to the studs. 48" wide. Excess width for 4 tires. Feels pretty solid to me.

Since I liked the first rack I ordered two more (we have 3 cars that each have 2 sets of wheels/tires). I have only mounted 2 of 3 so far.

I decided to use 2x10's to allow mounting between studs. I did 42" spacing with no space between racks.

Overall saved me over 2 feet of horizontal space vs. going directly onto the studs. Lots more drilling, but worth it to not have the wasted space.

I also bought one of the new "professional" series flex head ratchets from Harbor Freight. Here's a shot next to my previous ratchets.

It feels really, really nice for the price. I ended up going back and picking up the long handle version of it as well.

Just picked up a newer stock WRX. Now I need to clean up the yellow wagon and get that ready to sell.

Love those folding tire racks. Have 2 of them hanging up in my garage, one has my partially destroyed set of BBS' on it, the other is going to be a fold-up work table after I get my ass to Lowe's and get some plywood to make the actual table section for it.

How's the quality on that HF ratchet, BTW? May have to add the couple lengths of them to my collection of they aren't too bad.

I'll be putting the third folding rack below the other two. It can hold my wife's second set of wheels/tires, but then fold up out of the way if needed (eg. engine pull).

I've considered trying to use them as a folding bench/shelf, but I'm not convinced it would be stable enough. It will need some weight on it to prevent it from lifting easily.

The wrench with the green handle has been my go-to for the last two years. I love the flex head and the rubber grip. Basically obsoleted the other three previous ones.

The new "professional" ones with the red handles seem super nice. The head is very slim and the overall quality seems great. 72 tooth.

I think I'll end up using the long handle one most (no pics of that one). I like the extra leverage. The only thing they lack is the quick release socket retention.

Picked up this $400 Craigslist special! Who doesn't want a beater, two wheel drive, 5-speed, high mileage, slightly rusty, old pick up truck? The guy I bought it from said it would only drive about ten miles before overheating so after I bought it I went straight to the parts store and replaced the thermostat. Drove it over 350 miles on the interstate without any issues, not to bad for an 87 power ranger!

You can use a 25% off coupon and if you are lucky, piggy back a free item with purchase coupon as well.

I bought a bunch of basically the same thing (Kobalt) without the rubber handle for 12 bucks a pop. They are nice but I dont like how easily the head swivels.

Yep, I got it on sale with the 25% off coupon and a free LED flashlight as well.

I also ended up going back and getting the long handled version too.

This one has a screw in the joint so I just crank them down until they're very stiff to swivel.

If you're hitting low and left, you're slapping the trigger and you're anticipating recoil.

There are some great targets out there that you can use as a guide to adjust your technique.

This is a good one: [IMG]

Also give this one a try: [IMG]

I have the 700. Has some weird bluetooth hiccup issue...but they have updatable firmware from the Pioneer site for the newer models. It's good, aside from no way to shut off the lights on it, and just be a non-lit up unit.

Finally took delivery of my new bike frame last week. Custom titanium, with custom powdercoat. Crazy light, probably the shortest wheelbase 29er out there, still room for 2.5" wide tires.

I like mine too! But hopefully I will be adding a new Dyno tune to mine. I have a couple loose ends to attend to from the pipe swap. Then thinking about a fuel pump upgrade prior to the tune.

My advice, speaking from experience is to get as many more done per tune as possible. Otherwise you're just wasting time and money

if I could afford ammo I owuld once a day.. though I have a small advantage.. the range is in my backyard..

went over the budget with the wife and she set aside $1K for me for the year to buy guns and ammo... so I blew $700 and bought a Mossberg 930 JM Pro from clown pants Chris... which is nice as she just bought me a safe for Christmas and back in October she bought me a Tavor....

Same gun as below but this is Curly's... he let me shoot it a bunch and I enjoyed shotguns for the first time injury free hahaah

Rig-Pro on Facebook. It's spendy, but is much nicer than most of the DIY ones end up.

Some people do rolling shots too. Both methods can be used to the same effect.
