I saw your post on FB, that sucks man! But I'd imagine you're glad you found those issues before buying. Hopefully you're able to find one in better condition!
Ok, I've been buying up a storm of stuff recently, but here is the fun stuff: New Winter Setup - Michelin X-Ice 3's on OE Crosstrek Wheels (sorry, I put them on my wheel rack in baggies and don't want to move them again...it if freakin hot in my garage today)!! More pics here: http://imgur.com/a/ESS3x Never mind the tires on top, they came off the wheels for my winter setup. Also, picked up almost all the parts I need to upgrade my drivetrain to 11 speed.......for my Time Trial Bike for roadie cycling enthusiasts: Still planning getting new cables and an alignment tool so I can install the components.
Didn't somebody do a group buy on the weathertech last year? Hopefully it will happen this year also.
Good to hear! I have them in my WRX and they are terrible. The plastic is very hard and it never stays in place. Now, because it's constantly been twisting, there is a big bump that sticks out where my right foot goes and it messes with me while I'm trying to accelerate. Not a fan
This was the primary reason I went with them. From some of the SJ sites site and pages, these seemed to get better overall reviews than the weathertech when it came to fitment/coverage. I am going to vacuum and throw them in today so we will see. Price wise they are cheaper than WeatherTech, but not by much.
They offer four products: X-act Contour, WeatherBeater, Heavy Duty Floor Mats and Classic Style. Do you remember which one you are having issues with? The one we have is the WeatherBeater, and it is indeed hard and stiff but there are no issues with it staying in place. And yes, they feel and look a little "cheap", but I don't expect to have holes wear in them like I have had with Subaru all weather mats. WeatherTech's product offered hardly any coverage for the dead pedal in comparison (on our Escape). I have never owned any WeatherTech products, but they obviously are doing something right based on the continued growth of their company. Sorry to hear that you had issues with the Husky product.
^Unsure as to which ones they were. Tonight i got a great deal on a new tank thanks to @Joe seiter ! Sideways potato camera pics FTW
Now we just need to get you bigger clouds. Glad to hook you up as its a awsome tank. You can get orings i. Different colors as well so you can match the mod or your car colors.
Lol just dont drip and drive. One "toot" will cloud it so you cannot see. Ive had it so vaped in my wagon all i could see would have been brake lights if driving
Picked up a Stubby 1/2 drive impact wrench. Total length is 3-27/32 long and it has 600 Ft-lbs of max reverse torque making it much stronger than most other 1/2 drive impacts (of course there are several exceptions). More compact than any other impact wrench on the market, including 3/8 and 1/4 drive impacts. Looking forward to trying it out soon! My guess is that many people (especially the DIY crowd) could replace all of their impacts with this one. Compact and powerful! Also got then got some Knipex Pliers Wrenches (a lot like adjustable wrenches, but way quicker and easier to use, as well as stronger), a type 1 guard for my Milwaukee angle grinders, and a magnetic clip attachment for my Milwaukee multimeter!
My Kindle Fire was on back order, and wouldn't arrive until November, so I canceled it and got this beauty. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Contains an 8.4" screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600.
I'm really liking it. I've been doing pretty standard driving for a week now, and haven't used a drop of gas, just charging up every night. It's crazy quiet and smooth.
I actually just picked up a Galaxy Tab S 8.4: I needed an Android tablet for a data logging program I am using for autox (SoloStorm) and I originally picked up a cheapo tablet from Amazon (Dragon M7). The screen was TERRIBLE. Very low resolution and terrible touch responsiveness. So I had actually just placed an order on Amazon yesterday for a refurb Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, but this Galaxy Tab S popped up on Craiglist for cheaper than the refurb Tab Pro, so I couldn't pass it up. Cancelled my Amazon order and survived yet another Craigslist transaction lol. The screen on this thing is simply amazing. It is the same resolution as the Tab Pro, but this is the super AMOLED, so slightly better contrast.
Yep, Dave S. let me try SoloStorm when he co-drove for M7, and it helped me pretty easily find where I lost ~7 tenths. I got the cheapo tablet and OBDII reader and Bernie had the GPS and GoPro for this last weekend and SoloStorm again was extremely helpful. It's very nice to have the data and it's surprising when you have a slow run and blame it on one section you messed up...when in reality you are really losing the time somewhere else on course.
Added to the growing collection. I used this, and the larger version, for my adirondack chairs and really liked the feel of this one. This should be good for a few of the furniture restoration projects that my wife has had in mind too. Ridgid 5" corded Orbit Sander. Reasonable price for a fun little tool.
Have you used the DeWalt Orbital Sander? Mine recently broke, and I was looking to replace it. Your sander looks promising.
I personally have never experienced a problem with them. Used a 5 pc set that i was given at work, used them for 3 yrs straight(and that was hardcore daily use and abuse). Dropped the drills and reciprocating saw off ladders a handful of times, lol. Ran over the impact drill with a forklift and it got all tweaked, but still worked great and allowed me to get the job done. And with the added curve that i inflicted with the forklift, i was able to get into tighter corners!! Lmao Worth the money IMO. There are better tools out there. But again, for the money, there is no comparison!
Only if the screws were in the left side of the vanity against the wall. It was much more difficult getting to the screws on the right side with my "modified version". Hahaha!
