2 Albino, 2 Tiger Oscars. 2 Electric Blue Jack Dempseys 1 Clown Knife Fish 1 New tank for my Best Friend (20gal)
Looks great! More details? And please don't post a review, and it will probably push me over the edge to actually sell my 3.6
Its a 2014 320i xdrive with the M sport package. On paper its laughable IMO, but it's quicker than the 3.6 was and handles AMAZING. I keep reverting to it being a miata sedan. Great MPG with a mix of 40% flat footed driving and 60% highway miles I am getting 28mpg right now. Not sure about you but my Legacy was lucky to get 23.
That sounds awesome. So is it really quicker, or does it just feel quicker? Not that it really matters for a sedan cruiser, but just curious. That is nice gas mileage and you're right, mixed driving, I maybe get 23. 28-29 if I am driving nicely on the highway.
From what the inter webs says the 320i is 3/10ths of a second faster than the listed Legacy's 0-60. I was worried before the test drive that a 320 would be mind numbing slow but was surprised right away that it would be fine. When the salesman told me to take the 25mph cloverleaf exit at 50 I realized this thing handled great and realized I missed rwd cars. The M sport package got me a beefy 3 spoke sport steering wheel you see above and then an amazing suspension and sport seats with adjustable bolsters. Then you hop on the freeway and throw it in eco pro mode and it allows for coasting and adjusts the shift points to just glide down the road and get 33-35mpg. Space is good, Im 5'11" and with the seat where I want it I can still climb in back comfortably. Trunk is slightly smaller but plentiful. Top that off with a 6 year 100k warranty and a 5 year 75k $0 cost maintenance package I will just be driving it and putting gas and tires into it, BMW covers brakes in their package. I did fall for their BMW PDR package for $600 if I get a door ding I bring in the car, they give me a loaner and I pick up my car the next day fixed and ready to go, for the next 5 years.
Very cool. I think my next car is going to be a CPO german car of sorts, and this one may have edged up my list. Although I'd really like a wagon/hatch again, but it seems like the wagon/GT has a slight trade off in the handling department...but I'm sure it will still be superior to the majority of Subaru's lol. Although I do get my handling "fix" by driving the FRS...it'll do your clover leaf at 60, on Prius tires! haha
Well it didn't take me long....My stage one kit will be here Friday. This is why I left the turbo world.....dammittt
Just bought the upgrade for my AccessPort. Finally going to V3 so I'm ready for when flex fuel maps get released. Or I may get that kit from Delicious Tuning. Meh, we shall see. Do I really need to add a pic of an AP?
That vehicle looks like a ****ing semi, and here I thought my grandpa's lifted GMc Denali 2500 was huge.
A lifted 2500 Denali is huge, the 4Runners are surprisingly compact for what they are. It's over a foot shorter than my SHO was.
All in good time, but with as much commuting as I do I'm really wanting steel bumpers. Preferably lined with concrete...
i thought the car was xdrive, are they rw biased? i'm really considering a sport x320d wagon as my next car, need to wait a year or two for the CPOs to become more plentiful
Scored this a couple weekends ago a swap meet. Just getting a chance to finally post it. The real question is, do I open it and put it together or leave it in the plastic...?
Glass covered museum display case in the living room. Do NOT open it. You are looking at your kid's college education.
The retail sticker on the box said $89.95 and I paid a 1/3 of that. Can't see this ending well from an investment standpoint, haha.
Looks like a lot of pieces.... http://www.model-making.eu/products/Subaru-Racing-Team-with-Car.html I agree that it doesn't seem like something that will ever make you rich. I'd put it together!
Holy ****. Looks like a perfect project to keep me busy this winter in our new house that doesn't have internet capability. I'm contemplating getting some WRB and spraying it with my Sata at work. Go big, right? I do think a display case would be in order once it's assembled. Haha.
I think you should advertise it on some international rally forum. I will guarantee you there is more than one someone out there that will pay top dollar for that.
They came yesterday. These mofos are beautiful and beefy. Box was 59 lbs and everything but the top layer of packing is shown there.
Sorry just saw this, they are very much rwd bias. I haven't read up on the details much but in Sport+ mode(w/all the traction controls off) It will go sideways and keep going on dry pavement, allegedly...
Not that I really mind the color (matches my trailing arms and the splatter on my Hellas) I would have gone all black if I'd noticed sooner that FlatOut does custom colors. Oh well, I guess I'll survive with the green.
What model is that and what is the build envelope? Does it only use ABS filament? Curious as I've wanted one but can't justify buying one just yet. But for under $300 I might seriously consider.
http://folgertech.com/products/folger-tech-reprap-2020-prusa-i3-full-aluminum-3d-printer-kit It will do 8x8x7". ABS and PLA and possibly some of the other hybrid stuff, haven't tried anything but PLA yet. The assembly instructions are terrible but if you are decently skilled mechanically you can figure it out. Software was much easier than I thought it would be. Besides some miss-information in the instructions (x axis end switch connection and extruder direction in the firmware) it worked very well first try. I'm new to 3d printing and am still trying to tweak the settings for better prints but its well worth the money. I would also suggest getting the LCD display. For $11 it lets you print from an SD card without a computer.
