Little OT here, Chux, but every time I see a new picture of you, you look like you should be out fighting bears with your fists or something.
LOL. I'm OK with that. yea.......had a job interview a couple weeks ago.....so the beard was thinned out quite a bit
Slowly starting the conversion to a black interior. Picked up some 2009 WRX heated seats at an almost steal of a price. Now just to figure out how to add the switches and plugs for the heat.
There is a good write up on 3Gwrx.Com Edit.... this should be it. It shows all the steps to add heat (which you don't need)... but also a few different switch options. http://www.3gwrx.com/forum/index.php/topic,12166.0/topicseen.html
Awesome thanks dude! I plan on picking up a black center console so I will probably have to retro-fit a location for the switches. Maybe I will luck out and get one with switches already.
Cobb heat shield and now awaiting my TurboXS stealthback. Was supposed to be here today, but shipping via Greyhound is stupid.
TurboXS stealthback finally came. Now, the waiting game for Grimmspeed to get more turbo-dp gaskets in stock. Also, the seller didn't included the donut gasket or any hardware except for dp->cat pipe. I'll probably just order a the hardware set that I'm seeing around for $40...anyone know of anywhere I can get it cheaper? Here's what I'm talking about http://www.fastwrx.com/tuexhakit.html PS: Interested in those 3 tires in the background, see my Nexen FS thread
Otherwise, use the MNSubaru discount and grab the doughnut gasket from MNtK Subaru. That's what I did.
Along with the doughnut gasket, I need the little bracket to support the downpipe. I suppose I could reuse the springs, sleeves and bolts but it would suck to snap one when taking the stock exhaust off and not have a replacement.
For now (really once I get it set up), I will just be running XBMC on it to stream off of my HTPC/media server. Russ
Drove 25 hours to pick up this little fella: Pretty much the same length and height as my other 2door coupe, but 1200lbs less and way underpowered (for now)...
might see what a fpr and pump do for the 12a (sterling carb and exhaust), but I also have a 302, tremec t5, aluminum driveshaft and 8.8" rear end sitting here with a couple sets of gears. 4link and mini tub would be fun. New rear end for sure though. Enjoying it for now, we'll see how it does in the coming months with the winter tires I just ordered.
11-inch MacBook Air 2.0 GHz i7 8GB memory 256 flash storage Finally, after over 3 months with out a personal computer, I ordered this in last Friday, and picked it up last night. Loving it so far! Still getting the old computer fixed, as well as 2/3 external hard drives...
Lol, thanks! It's crazy being this close to mountains now. Spent most of my career (7/8 years) away from any, and obviously not any real ones back there. Definitely a change.
