If there is ever an episode of jeopardy entitled, "anything with a motor" I'm betting every cent I have on you.
Haha to be fair it is a great wave runner. Also, growing up on the lake helped. I wish I knew everything about anything with a motor!
Got the 7 drawer side cabinet for my tool chest! Ran out of room in the new box after 7 months....now the side cabinet is almost filled too!
I have the same setup minus the little thing on the side of the side cabinet... and another large lower cabinet... that is the kids toolbox now... hahaha Mine: my "kids" one both toolboxes probably cost under $2500 although the tools inside probably cost over $5K in both boxes hahaha full socket sets in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in both, screwdrivers, air tools... my one was my work one that I setup when I had my shop and then used when I sold it and worked at a dealership for a while.... I set up the kids box as my home setup for a side business but ended up quitting my job and going back to school for welding then onto a Machinist degree.. now I have another toolbox about half that size with all my machinist tools... it never ends hahahaha
I've been wanting to put some of those in my footwell for additional illumination. I've been a bit lazy, though. Got pix of it installed?
it will be under cabinet/bar lighting. It will be a while before there are any completed pics. I am working crazy hours at work, so I have very little down time to actually work on it. Russ
Went to check out cars with the wife today, as her 08 Civic, even after putting on good tires, was still struggling with winter, and even the basics of our not-that-steep-nor-long driveway when it was snowy/icy. I was really pushing for an XV, and she loved it, but right now was not in the cards for us. We ended up finding a great deal on a 2012 Nissan Rogue S with 10k miles for just under 13k at the Lincoln of Bloomington. It was a very pleasant experience with a dealer that, in all honesty, was never on our radar. Although it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that her Civic did, it handles way better, has a nice ride height, and is going to help me sleep better on snow storm nights when I know that she is out driving. One of her big non-negotiables that we ended up not getting, was a sunroof. I would really really like to get her one down the road (for maybe anniversary or something). Does anyone have any experience doing this to a car as an aftermarket item? I will be honest it makes me a little nervous, but I know that Jamusix had it on his WRX with out any leaks/flaws. Photo to follow...
I have read way too many sunroof horror stories (even OEM ones). I would pass over a car with one no matter how much I loved the car. I would spend the money on some snow tires and an extra set of wheels for the Rogue. She will appreciate the extra security and confidence they supply and you will sleep even better still.
Looks pretty good. Little iffy about the floor light, but it works. Good job. (We need a thumbs up smiley) That's looks like a garishly designed club.
Geckos!! I love geckos! On a long TCS to Guam, and I seriously think that the geckos are the only smaller wildlife I actually like here. Got nasty-ass toads here (disgusting: they have gross toad orgies (torgies is what I call them), and even conduct multi-toad gangbangs on dead toads), got these evil black birds that attack you while you're walking (they'll be starting that again soon I believe), banana spiders (may or may not be the type to cause Priapism), and wasp/hornet things galore. But the geckos never cease to amuse me, I see them and can't help but smile as they wriggle on walls, floors and even ceilings. Still hate islands though.
