FWIW. Jason is an ass, not only on the internets, but in real life too! That's why we love him, he is genuine.
Just wanted you all to know... You're all male chicken back pressure providers in my book!!! BTW I was doing my philligants last night and this is what I found: Post a complete description and include pictures of the item(s) for sale Just saying :/
Thanks for catching that, it will have to be amended to say "except in instances where the item is still holding your car together and isn't in a place where it can be photographed." Also, getting in someone's face over violation of a site rule isn't the job of thakrazymule. If you see someone violating a rule, hit the report post button and explain what you see. If we see a problem with it, we'll handle it. That's how it usually works. And it is exactly how I found out that any of this horse**** was happening. As far as I'm concerned, the guy not having pictures of his stock struts and springs that are still installed on his car and behind his wheels and out of any reasonable view of a camera is a moot point. And it wasn't one that felt needed pressing all that hard upon. It makes sense to me that he can't get you detailed pictures of the parts. And I'm not going to ban him, award him points, or be a dick to him because he wont dismantle his entire car to get pics of said items. However, when someone is being a malicious asshole, trolling users, and being an all around 'douchefagget,' I will tell that person to 'blown me' and send him some points. One user is being reasonable in his lack of photographs for a for sale post, the other user is being a ****ing jackass for no other purpose than because he's a jackass. One isn't harming anyone except maybe himself and his ability to quickly sell those parts vs. having to wait a bit. The other one is being a malicious asshole. One deserves nothing, the other deserves points.
Wow, this thread went somewhere dark. Now I feel sad for humanity, but I'll just reread the thread at laugh at the guy being a choad.
This is a great example of the difference between reading and comprehending. I really dont feel it necessary to explain myself but if it will help the small minority of you(and thank you for the vast majority that arent complete tools) that are having trouble sleeping at night over someone trying to sell some parts, here you go. I work full time, own a home, have a dog and a cat, and have an interest in turbo charged cars. I am not, however, made of money, heir to any fortunes, a powerball winner, ect... Since I have many things in my life that require a big or small portion of my weekly paycheck, it leaves me only so much to spend on things like lowering springs and fancy strut mounts and things that arent "necessary" for day to day life(like paying the mortgage, keeping the lights on, feeding myself and my pets, having a phone to call friends and family, and internet access to involve myself in interesting topics such as this. Most of you guys get this...) My intent was not to mislead anyone about what I was selling or to be lazy or to be one of the "just testing the waters" toolbags. It was simply to see if there was anyone, possibly someone in a similiar or tighter situation than mine, who just needed a decent set of struts to keep their car on the road and didnt have $1000+ to spend on fancy stuff. I was then going to use the information from the responses I got to determine if I could afford the GR-2s or possibly step up to an adjustable strut knowing someone would be interested in purchasing what I was taking off. Its all fairly straightforward in the total of 5 sentences in my original for sale post. I may have been a bit premature in my listing of the parts before they were off the car but, again, I wasnt asking for any money upfront or making anyone commit to anything before they were able to be fully inspected once they were off the car. I understand wanting to see a picture but most of the replies were from clowns who felt it necessary to take a cheap shot for ??? reason(xluben). If you would like to have a small glimpse of my character, take a peek at this thread. It was actually quite funny to find that the OP of the thread was a co-worker, I offered my help in changing his struts, asking nothing in return, before I even knew who he was. He brought his car over a Friday evening and we were able to get all 4 done and hopefully save him a decent amount of money by not having to take his car to a shop. So the next time you feel it necessary to act like a complete jackass stop for a moment and take pause. Is it really necessary? Is it how you would like to be treated? Im a firm believer in what goes around, comes around. Thank you, readymix for having sound judgement.
Really is no need to act like a jerk on here. I treat others the way that I want to be treated. That golden rule kinda thing.
I always come back for more slapping of my pee pee... Jason is so good at it cause he drives a red convertible and is a "Fagget"... hahah
Be an insufferable asshole, then when told to stop being an insufferable asshole, attack the messenger with poor spelling and grammar and juvenile insults.
there's the occasional n00b that provides some lulz. other than that, gdtd and monthly meets that are every couple of months on average.
